In order to implement the Vision 2021 announced by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the government has given special importance to this sector and ensured technical assistance in the ubiquitous application and use of information and communication technology at the district, upazila and union levels; Reaching the edge of information and communication technology facilities, provision of infrastructure security; maintenance; implementation; Directorate of Information and Communication Technology was constituted on July 31, 2013 to ensure delivery of e-services to remote areas of the country by enhancing quality control and skill enhancement of computer professionals.
